Do you ever feel that you are constantly adjusting and adapting to the needs and wants of other people? You’re not alone. Girls and women seem to be expected to navigate life’s transitions without question or complaint: hormonal and other physical changes, career decisions and interruptions, relationship issues, changes in marital status, caring for children and other family members, medical illnesses (ours and others). Too many of these can cause burnout, overwhelm, stress, anxiety, depression, and an overall sense that what you do doesn’t matter.
In this interactive class, participants review and honor their own life transitions and practice mindful meditation as a way to navigate future transitions with more awareness, acceptance, self-care, and calm.
Speaker: Linda England is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Mindfulness facilitator. She has a master’s degree in clinical psychology.
