Principal Cello of the LA Phil, deMaine will perform Dvorak’s contemplative and memorable Cello Concerto in B Minor. The program also includes Weber’s fanciful Overture to Oberon and Gershwin’s renowned An American In Paris. The evening begins with a pre-concert lecture by KUSC’s Rich Capparela. Complimentary cake and coffee will be served at intermission to celebrate the Symphony’s 75th anniversary season.
