about Santa Monica Bay Events (SMBE)
The Santa Monica Bay is home to many organizations which produce numerous events for our community. From nonprofit fundraisers to public events, we are a dynamic event-busy community. SMBE was launched in 2012 as a resource for people who wish to attend events and is also the definitive resource for posting events (use the online form) and a tool for checking dates when planning future events. Following the past few years of the pandemic causing a halt to events, we are glad to see the increase of virtual and/or hybrid events. Welcome back! As a result we have re-launched this SMBE website with a new look and benefits.
SMBE is offered as a free service to local nonprofit organizations due to the generosity of our elite advertisers. SMBE is a simple, yet easily navigated calendar and one-stop resource for what’s happening in the area. If you want information on an event posting, just click on the event pop-up for additional information on the event host’s website.
